Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation offers a critical role in the Space Planning, Readiness, and Operations Department. The Space Weaponeering Specialist will develop plans and COAs for DoW customers, applying JMEM analyses to Space Force challenges and coordinating with acquisition teams to translate needs into requirements.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in weaponeering, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of increasing responsibility with weaponeering experience.
• Experience in space control, command and control, operational planning, or battle management.
• Strong communication skills; willingness to travel.
• Active Top Secret clearance; eligible for SCI and SAP/SAR.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and COA development to DoW customers.
• Support customers across strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
• Apply JMEM-related analysis to US Space Force hard problems.
• Translate operational needs into acquisition requirements.
• Interface with acquisition organizations to aid understanding of employment concepts.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners in integrated product teams.
