Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA seeks a UI/UX Designer & Developer to craft world‑class interfaces for complex space systems. You’ll translate user needs into intuitive front‑end experiences across web and desktop applications supporting critical decision making.

You’ll collaborate with product designers and engineers, apply user research, prototyping, and accessibility best practices, and contribute to a high‑performing visualization toolset with modern front‑end tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, HCI, Design or related STEM field.
• At least 2 years of front-end development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience in user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, and accessibility.
• Ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences, including engineers and executives.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities
