Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer at Level 2 or Level 3 to join our I&T team supporting space vehicle systems. You will coordinate mechanical build and production activities and help develop test procedures and supporting hardware.

The role requires a STEM degree with experience in integration or manufacturing, SCI clearance eligibility, and a readiness to work on a 9/80 schedule with some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM with relevant work experience.
• Experience in integration, test, mechanical operations, or manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Test space flight hardware, identifying hazards and safety constraints.
• Analyze test results to ensure hardware health and proper operation.
• Apply knowledge of aerospace systems and spacecraft subsystems.
• Work in a team responsible for all I&T activities for the space vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
