Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector in Gilbert, AZ seeks a Mechanical Engineer – Level 2 or 3 to contribute to integration and test of space vehicle hardware. You will coordinate mechanical build and production activities, and help develop test procedures and support hardware designs.

The role requires a STEM degree with experience in integration, test, mechanical operations, or manufacturing, and the ability to obtain SCI clearance. 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 2 years of related experience or Master’s Degree with 0 years (Level 2).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearance.
• Experience in integration, test, mechanical operations, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform I&T activities for space vehicle systems and their hardware.
• Coordinate and oversee mechanical build and production operations by the technical staff.
