Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle, WA is seeking a Validation Engineer focused on enhancing the testing environment for the Blue Ring program. You will ensure our test scenarios accurately represent flight vehicle behavior, engaging in both Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, with 5+ years of hands-on experience in system-level validation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, stock options, and up to four weeks PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in system-level validation or testing of complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, such as schematics and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead validation and V&V of test environments including SIL and HIL systems.
• Design and run test cases simulating mission scenarios.
• Document test plans and present findings to stakeholders.
