Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a System Test Engineer (Space Systems) for a contract assignment in El Segundo, CA, working 2nd shift with potential 1st/3rd shift coverage. Role includes hardware/software verification tests on space systems, test equipment configuration, and data analysis to meet project requirements.

Minimum qualifications include a BS in engineering or related field, 3+ years in test instrumentation, and 3+ years of automated testing with electronics and C# tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with specialized test equipment and instrumentation.
• 3+ years of experience performing automated tests and troubleshooting electronics hardware and software.
• Experience with software tools based in C#.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development and verification of test methods.
• Performs detailed test procedures and instrumentation configuration to meet test plans.
• Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact.
• Designs test hardware, software and systems to meet test requirements.
• Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements.
• Reviews test data for accuracy and fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
• Prepares and publishes test reports to document results and satisfy requirements.
• Presents test results internally and archives data and reports.
• Works under general direction from test leads.
