Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. seeks a Space Force Integration Engineer (Test Engineer) to support the DIT Team in testing, integration, verification, and validation of advanced space and ground systems for U.S. Space Force programs.

You will develop test strategies, implement automation, and troubleshoot complex issues across software, systems, and hardware disciplines. You will collaborate with engineers across software, systems, and hardware domains, contributing to mission-critical defense

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree with related experience and minimum years in relevant fields.
2+ years in systems integration, test engineering, software integration or verification and validation.
1+ year in translating requirements into verification/testing methods.
1+ year of object‑oriented programming or scripting experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

Support system integration, verification, validation, and testing of space and ground systems.
Analyze requirements and translate into test plans and procedures.
Develop, execute, and document integration and verification test cases.
Create test plans, procedures, and reports; maintain documentation.
Troubleshoot issues; perform root-cause analysis and resolution.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts and tools.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting tasks.
Design test fixtures, equipment, and diagnostic solutions as needed.
Support software integration and system interoperability testing.
Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware teams throughout the lifecycle.
