Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Reliability, Maintainability, and Safety Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on ensuring space systems, launch vehicles, and ground operations meet safety and reliability requirements, with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will collaborate with design and regulatory teams, perform FMEA/FTA/RCA analyses, develop maintenance strategies, and support compliance with 14 CFR Part 450, AFSPCMAN 91-710, and ARP4761.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in reliability methods (FMEA, FTA, RCA).
• Knowledge of safety and reliability standards.
• Strong cross-functional communication and regulatory liaison skills.
• Experience with CAD tools and reliability prediction software.

Responsibilities

• Compliance management: Ensuring adherence to safety and reliability standards and regulations.
• Hazard identification and risk assessment: Conduct FMEA/FTA to identify hazards and assess risk.
• Reliability analysis: Perform reliability assessments and improve system reliability.
• Design review and input: Collaborate with design engineers to embed safety requirements.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintenance strategy development: Create proactive maintenance plans based on analyses.
