You will lead safety analyses, reliability assessments, and root cause investigations, partnering with cross‑functional engineers to improve mission readiness and asset performance across lunar systems and ground operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field with strong safety focus.
• Minimum 4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Proficiency in FMEA, FTA, and RCA techniques.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Experience with regulatory standards and design inputs.

Responsibilities

• Compliance management: ensure safety and reliability standards and regulations compliance.
• Hazard identification and risk assessment using FMEA and FTA.
• Reliability analysis to predict failures and improve performance.
• Design review input: incorporate safety and reliability requirements into designs.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine underlying causes and prevent recurrence.
• Maintenance strategy development to minimize downtime and optimize assets.
