Job summary

Mclaurin Aerospace seeks a Project Manager, ATCS, to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. You will lead project definition, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across customers, primes, and technical authorities.

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 10–15 years of related experience. The role emphasizes excellent communication, cross-functional leadership, and risk management in a dynamic space environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; master’s preferred.
• Experience managing and leading engineering projects.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost estimating.
• Excellent written and oral communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Formulate project scope based on customer direction (EA-023).
• Define threats, costs, resources, and track with schedule.
• Communicate issues and negotiate with program, primes and authorities.
• Set milestones, schedule, and budget constraints for the team.
• Provide vision and allocate resources; define roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain a project plan and schedule; break work into tasks.
• Monitor progress, deliverables, and documents; control scope.
• Coordinate cost, schedule, and technical risk changes with the program.
• Direct and mentor project staff; manage lessons learned.
