Job summary

Mb Solutions, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead ATCS initiatives in collaboration with Nexus and NASA centers across the United States. You will guide project scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and maintain stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery of complex engineering programs.

You will manage tasks, develop plans, and oversee risk, cost, and schedule changes, while mentoring team members and ensuring compliance with program requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and often a related master's; 10–15 years of experience.
• Experience managing and leading engineering projects.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost estimating.
• Excellent oral and written communication with customers and management.
• Ability to coordinate support from a wide range of technical disciplines.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks to completion.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical system design, drawings, and office software.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the project based on customer direction and defined scope.
• Define threats, costs, resources, and track them with schedule.
• Communicate issues and negotiate with program, contractors, and authorities.
• Define milestones, schedule, and budget constraints for the team.
• Provide a project vision and assign responsibilities to team members.
• Develop and maintain the project plan and schedule; segment work into tasks.
• Track progress, manage deliverables, and maintain project documents.
• Update scope, financial plan, goals, and deliverables through the life cycle.
• Review changes to cost, schedule, or risk; request budget/schedule changes as needed.
• Direct, support, and coordinate the project team; mentor staff.
• Review hazard analyses and risk assessments for tests as required.
