Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Production Planner and Scheduler (Level 3 or 4) to lead production schedules for cable assembly, machine shop, and integration. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in planning with ERP/MRP experience.

US citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance are essential. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a 9/80 work schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in operations planning and production scheduling.
Experience in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience planning in an ERP system and familiar with the MRP process.

Responsibilities

Plans and controls production schedules to meet required production timelines.
Advises management on status of work in progress and material availability.
Schedules equipment and personnel and prepares work orders from the master schedule.
Coordinates inter-departmental activity with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and traffic.
Other tasks as assigned by management.
