Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing and assembly of space system hardware. You will lead teams, review schedules, allocate materials and manpower, and resolve issues to maintain on-time, quality production.

Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and quality teams, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards, and driving continuous improvement across processes and tooling. A strong leadership mindset and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel in the build and assembly of space system hardware components, subassemblies, and integrated systems.
• Review production schedules, material requirements, and manpower resources to optimize operations.
• Assign personnel and resources to meet production objectives and milestones.
• Monitor costs and workforce plans relative to targets and performance.
• Identify production constraints and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance to refine processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, specifications and safety protocols.
• Present technical information and plans to cross-functional audiences.
