Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing and assembly of space system hardware, including integration of components, subassemblies, and units. You will review production schedules, assign staff, and resolve issues to meet weekly and monthly plans while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel in the build and assembly of space system hardware components, subassemblies, and integrated systems.
• Review production schedules, material requirements, and manpower resources to optimize operations.
• Assign personnel and resources to meet production objectives and schedules.
• Monitor costs and workforce plans relative to performance and targets.
• Identify and communicate production constraints and issues to stakeholders.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and technical problems while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to refine methods, processes, and procedures.
• Recommend improvements to materials, equipment, tooling, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and safety protocols.
• Execute performance management, coaching, and accountability.
