Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing and assembly of space system hardware in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

You will review production schedules, allocate resources, and coach a team to achieve weekly and monthly objectives while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel in the build and assembly of space system hardware, subassemblies, and integrated systems.
• Review production schedules, material requirements, and manpower resources to optimize manufacturing operations.
• Assign personnel and resources to meet production objectives and milestones.
• Monitor costs and workforce plans relative to team performance and targets.
• Identify and communicate production constraints, shortages, and technical issues to stakeholders.
• Resolve scheduling and technical problems through data analysis and collaboration while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to refine methods, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and safety protocols.
