Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer (Space Systems) in Montville, NJ. You will manage production lines, develop methods, and implement lean improvements to meet customer demand and yield targets.

Responsibilities include designing new processes, testing policies, and collaborating with suppliers and machinists to optimize layouts and tooling. A strong background in valves, piping, high-pressure fluids, and clean rooms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills for multi-faceted interactions.
• Highly computer literate with MS Office/PC expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design new systems and processes for introducing new products or improving existing products.
• Develop and maintain testing policies, procedures, and performance metrics to achieve manufacturing objectives.
• Investigate, assess and resolve production issues effectively.
• Implement improvements to current operations to improve efficiency.
• Communicate with suppliers to procure necessary equipment.
• Assemble and test production hardware.
