Rocket Lab is seeking an Office Administrator onsite at our Optical Systems location in Tucson, AZ. You will support day-to-day office operations, purchasing, travel coordination, expense reporting, facilities, and employee engagement activities to create a professional and welcoming workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in an administrative/office support role.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for the Tucson office, partnering with the Executive Assistant & Office Manager.
• Coordinate day-to-day office operations, including meeting logistics, interviews, and office support for leadership and staff.
• Create, edit, and maintain professional business documents, presentations, reports, and confidential records using Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Manage office purchasing, inventory, supplies, vendor orders, shipping/receiving, mail distribution, and budget tracking.
• Coordinate facilities-related activities with Facilities and IT to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Arrange catering and provide support for meetings, employee engagement activities, recognition events, and office celebrations.
• Assist with domestic and international travel coordination and reconcile expense reports.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and support organizational initiatives with a focus on customer service.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve office organization and processes while maintaining a welcoming workplace.
• Assist with obtaining and maintaining a company purchasing card and occasional vendor communications using personal cell phone.
• Occasional travel or off-site support may be required.
