Job summary

Entarian is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join our team supporting the US Space Force meshONE-T program. The role focuses on managing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure from our Denver, CO area office.

Responsibilities include planning, designing, and maintaining local and wide area networks, monitoring performance, and collaborating with cybersecurity and operations teams. A Secret clearance is required, with eligibility for TS/SCI, and travel to Colorado Springs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering experience including design of LAN/WAN and network architecture.
• Routing/switching configuration and troubleshooting to CCNP level.
• IP addressing including IPv4/IPv6 subnetting and routing.
• Security+ certification required.
• Travel to Colorado Springs and Boulder with under 10% out-of-state travel.
• Ability to be on-call (about 4 times annually in 1-week increments).

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and evaluate networks across LAN/WAN with analytical and administrative support.
• Troubleshoot network issues; install and upgrade network equipment and software (long-haul carrier cross-connections).
• Create and maintain network configuration documentation and service records.
• Maintain network component inventory and related documentation.
• Monitor network performance and generate performance reports.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, operations, and PM teams for installations and troubleshooting.
• Update documents when transport design or technologies change; test systems to meet requirements for performance and security.
• Provide design and architecture recommendations to improve network performance.
