Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo (CA) or Chantilly (VA) is seeking a technically skilled MS/PhD engineer for MS&A of space, air, and ground systems. You will perform modeling, simulation, and analyses to evaluate CONOPS performance in nominal and contested environments, collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements include strong programming in Python/C++/MATLAB, an advanced engineering degree, and eligibility for a TS clearance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering or closely related field from an accredited school.
• 0-1 year industry experience.
• Ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance with SCI access; US citizenship required.
• Proficiency with Python, C++, or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Use and contribute to in-house and government/off-the-shelf engineering analysis software tools.
• Conduct technical deep dives, trade studies, and assessments in multi-disciplinary teams to define problems and support customer decisions.
• Develop and deliver timely and technically accurate presentations and reports.
• Travel occasionally to support customer efforts.
