APEX TK LLC is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to join our team supporting a critical government client in the aerospace domain. You will define modeling requirements from user needs and system architecture and develop scripts to automate scenario modeling and performance analysis.

You will perform advanced modeling related to orbital mechanics and/or sensor phenomenology, and develop tools to address Space Situational Awareness challenges for the IC and DoD.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc).
• Active TS/SCI with CI poly clearance.
• Experience in space-related engineering analysis using C++, Python, MATLAB, SQL or STK.

Aufgaben

• Define modeling requirements from user needs and system architecture; develop scripts to automate scenario modeling and performance analysis.
• Perform advanced modeling related to orbital mechanics and/or sensor phenomenology (optics/radar/RF).
• Use and develop modeling tools and algorithms for Space Situational Awareness (SSA) for IC and DOD.
• Develop code/scripts to model space conflict scenarios for system evaluation.
• Collaborate in a team environment to study diverse space-domain problems.
• Incorporate phenomenological modeling principles into relevant models and simulations.
