Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Modeling and Simulation Analysis Engineer to support SDA SETA efforts from Chantilly, VA, with remote options.

You will develop, refactor, and validate high‑fidelity models of space architectures, extend capabilities, and incorporate network metrics to support verification and testing. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in space system modeling, strong STK experience, and proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• 5+ years in space systems modeling and simulation.
• Significant STK experience; DoD/government satellite systems experience is a plus.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or C++ is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Refactor and optimize the space system model to run as a standalone application.
• Test and validate the model’s performance and accuracy.
• Extend model capabilities for complex system behaviors and interactions.
• Develop STK scenarios and integrate STK with other modeling tools and platforms.
• Produce reports and presentations with analysis results and recommendations.
