Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a space-focused design analyst in Glendale, AZ to perform complex analyses on space-related components such as Reaction Wheel Assemblies, Control Moment Gyroscopes, isolation systems and electronics packaging.

You will use Siemens NX for finite element modeling, conduct thermal and structural analyses, develop new techniques, document results, and present findings to customers and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as STEM.
• 2+ years of design analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, SINDA, MSC/NASTRAN, MATLAB, Ansys.
• Ability to communicate clearly and tailor messages to audience.
• U.S. citizen; eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete complex analyses of space-related components.
• Develop and document new analysis techniques.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports.
• Present results to internal and external customers.
• Perform finite element modeling using Siemens NX.
• Conduct thermal analysis; conduct structural analysis.
• Communicate with customers and collaborate with engineering teams.
