Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking an onsite Integration/Deployment Engineer to drive technical implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and operational transition of new capabilities supporting modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities include deploying and validating new hardware, software, and infrastructure; coordinating with Engineering, Development, Test, Cybersecurity, and Operations teams; and supporting customer site installations

Qualifications

• Active Security+ certification with CE and a minimum SECRET clearance.
• Eight years of experience in space operations/IT/Systems Administration or five years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to travel up to four weeks per year (less than 10%).
• Must be physically present five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Execute integration, deployment, and transition activities for modernization initiatives.
• Install, configure, integrate, and validate new hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
• Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and resolution during deployment.
• Develop and maintain deployment procedures, technical docs, and runbooks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Development, Test, Cybersecurity, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Support system verification, validation, and operational acceptance testing.
• Recommend improvements to deployment processes and standards.
• Support customer site installations and travel as required.
