Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager and Deputy Chief Systems Engineer to lead critical SE domains across the SDA portfolio. The role combines strategic direction with day-to-day guidance on requirements, verification, interfaces, and architecture to deliver space-informed systems.

The successful candidate will shape SE processes, collaborate with project teams and customers, and balance technical, schedule, and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading technical and/or functional teams.
• Knowledge of systems architecture within space, aerospace, or related programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Systems Engineering Manager and Deputy Chief Systems Engineer across the SDA portfolio.
• Provide strategic technical leadership and day-to-day guidance across SE domains such as requirements management, verification, interface control, and architecture.
• Shape portfolio-level SE processes to drive product delivery and collaborate with integrated project teams.
• Support technical direction, planning, staffing, design reviews, and program/customer meetings; manage cost/schedule performance.
