Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to join our Space Systems Division at the Long Beach, CA site. You will collaborate with a mentor and a team to advance assembly, integration, and test sequences for satellites and subsystems.

You will gain hands-on experience with real hardware, attend tech talks, and participate in intern events while working in a fast-paced environment.”

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in engineering, physics or math with at least one semester remaining after internship.
• GPA 3.0 or above (preferred).
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and team to apply engineering concepts and grow technical skills.
• Contribute to Space Systems Division projects and solve real challenges in hardware development.
• Participate in regular 1:1s and attend tech talks and intern events to learn and network.
