Job summary

MTSI is seeking a Systems Engineer with DoD/IC experience to provide SETA support for space vehicle systems at Kirtland AFB, NM. Role includes design, analysis, and integration of cryptographic and satellite communication subsystems, and collaboration with multiple agencies to meet mission requirements.

The candidate will work in a fast-paced, highly empowered team, delivering critical space capabilities and managing risks across cost, schedule, and performance while communicating complex

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience.
• Knowledge of space mission payload engineering, development, and manufacturing.
• Experience with DoD program management including program development and transition.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules and risk management.
• Experience with Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
• Fluency with IC organizations.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions to complex projects.
• Leads or supports technical programs or tasks with engineering oversight.
• Ensures completion of tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
• Provides input to the government customer concerning risks to performance, schedule, and budget.
• Ensures quality of deliverables meet standards and mission needs.
• Plans and performs engineering research, design development, and related assignments.
• Coordinates with multiple partners/agencies to support delivery milestones.
