Job summary

MTSI is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) to the Space Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) at Kirtland AFB, NM. You will lead or support technical programs, oversee complex tasks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across cryptographic and satellite communications domains.

Ideal candidates have DoD/IC experience, space mission payload knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex results to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years DoD/IC, or relevant industry work experience.
• Skilled in development and fielding cryptographic and satellite communication systems.
• Knowledge of space mission payload engineering, development, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions to complex projects.
• Leads or supports technical programs, projects, or tasks with high technical complexity.
• Ensures milestones meet time and budget constraints and advises on risks.
