Job summary

Space Systems Integration, LLC (SSI) in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Space Systems Engineer SV to join a small, empowered team responsible for space cryptographic and satellite communications hardware/software integration. You will contribute to diverse subsystems and work closely with management to align technical outcomes with mission goals.

The role requires strong system engineering background, DoD/IC experience, and active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years DoD/IC or relevant industry experience.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree or PE license.
• MA/MS/ME degree.
• Skilled in development and fielding cryptographic and satellite communication systems.
• Clearance: Active TS with in-scope T5/SSBI; SCI eligibility and polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, interpretation and analysis of technical solutions for complex projects.
• Leads or supports technical programs or tasks with significant engineering oversight.
• Tracks and advises on cost, schedule and technical impacts.
• Provides strategic technical guidance to program staff and management.
• Coordinates with partners to meet milestones and deliverables.
