GeoControl Systems in Houston seeks a Systems Engineer for Portable Crew Device to join a NASA-focused team delivering the Orion PCD integration with the HLS program. You will work on system architecture, requirements, verification, and collaboration with the Orion Project Office and vendors.

Qualificações

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5–10 years of related experience.
• 10 years’ of relevant experience in systems engineering.
• On-site in B44 location (situational telework only).
• Knowledge of SE&I processes, methodologies, tools and MBSE.
• Knowledge of test principles, tools, and processes for test development.
• Experience with space hardware design, drawings, materials selection.
• Ability to prepare written documents and present at meetings.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide systems engineering for Orion PCD integration with HLS and vendors.
• Support project schedules, procurement docs, and budgets.
• Develop sub-project requirements and verification data packages.
• Conduct life cycle reviews and coordinate verification/validation.
• Align hardware specs with verifications and design intent.
• Provide user input during design and review processes.
• Coordinate ground and flight testing with documentation.
• Review verification/validation reports for compliance.
• Participate in SRR, PDR, CDR and Con-Ops activities.
• Perform system-level architecture trade studies affecting electrical design.
• Support testing and operation of as-built hardware.
• Identify risks and plan risk responses.
• Present schedule and progress to customers.
• Maintain strong communication and teamwork.
