Job summary

Amazon is seeking a candidate for a role focused on software delivery for its satellite initiative. The position requires 2+ years of systems development experience and proficiency in programming with modern languages such as Python; knowledge of Linux/Unix is essential.

In this role, you will support production operations, develop automation solutions, and troubleshoot software issues to ensure mission-critical reliability. The salary range is USD 99,100 – 160,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of systems development experience.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support a suite of software applications and services to update software on satellites.
• Handle high-impact production operations and issue triaging.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing production software issues.
• Develop tools, automation and monitoring solutions.
• Implement fixes for internally developed code and track technical challenges.
• Improve operational excellence and readiness of the systems.
