Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to develop spacecraft hardware and systems across concept to production.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to design, analyze, prototype, test, and qualify thermal and mechanical solutions for space missions. You will contribute across the full lifecycle, from initial concepts through flight hardware, collaborating with manufacturing and customers to ensure producible, reliable hardware for satellites,

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with CAD, FEA, and CFD tools.
• U.S. Person as defined by ITAR restrictions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Innovative concept generation.
• Excel or hand-calculation analysis.
• 3-D CAD modeling using SolidWorks; CFD/FEA analysis.
• 2-D drawing creation; design review documentation; FMEA development and review.
• Developing fabrication procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborating with engineers and technicians across disciplines.
• Supporting program schedules and budgets; communicating with customers.
