Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Space Systems Engineering and Acquisition Support SME in Dayton, OH to provide Advisory and Assistance Services to AFRL for technology development projects.

The SME will coordinate among industry and mission partners and work with program managers, lead project engineers, and program teams to advance space systems engineering and acquisition goals. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in DoD program management, risk management, and systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical field.
A Master's degree in a similar field is highly desired.
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering and program management support to AFRL for space systems technology development.
Coordinate technology development efforts among industry and multiple mission partners.
Advise on design reviews, engineering demonstrations, testing opportunities, and risk mitigation.
Travel up to 20% for testing and technical interface exchange meetings.
