Job summary

Aetos Systems, Inc. is seeking a Voice Systems Electronic Technician to install, test, repair, and maintain unified power systems, converters, batteries, and RF radios for Kennedy Space Center projects.

The role covers cable harness fabrication, antenna grounding, and system integration across multiple voice platforms. The position requires an AS/technical degree or equivalent, 4+ years of related experience or an approved apprenticeship, and eligibility to pass NASA background and drug

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics or related field; 1.5 years of related experience may substitute for education.
• Four years of related experience or completion of an approved apprenticeship recognized by US DOL.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical functions supporting engineering activities.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment following schematics and plans.
• Tests in development mode and determines actions to correct malfunctions or design problems.
• Recommends modifications to engineering designs as necessary.
• Assists in design, construction, test and checkout of test equipment.
• Fabricates custom support equipment from steel, aluminum, wood and plywood for voice/data systems installation.
• Install, remove, and replace CCTV and webcam systems for spacecraft, payload, and security ops.
• Set up and operate video equipment and portable sound reinforcement.
• Perform software upgrades on sustaining systems.
• Install and maintain handheld, fixed, and mobile RF radios.
