Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division is seeking design engineers to support NASA lunar exploration efforts. You will design mechanical components, spacecraft structures, and fluid/electrical systems for the Artemis program, working with integrated product teams and suppliers on on-site projects with potential remote options.

Applicants should have an engineering degree and Creo/Pro-Engineer experience, plus Windchill proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with Creo/Pro-Engineer 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting.
• Proficiency with Windchill PLM software.
• Demonstrated expertise in design for flight hardware or other quality sensitive products.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and spacecraft structures for lunar exploration projects.
• Develop electrical harnesses and support integration/assembly with other teams.
• Collaborate with NASA civil servants and vendors to release fabrication docs.
• Provide fabrication support and deliver reports/presentations to MSFC and management.
