Job summary

Aether Aerospace in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Space Rapid Capabilities Office. The role includes providing SETA to Space RCO and leading cybersecurity engineering to protect critical DoD space and ground systems.

The position requires an Active TS/SCI with SAP Eligibility and at least ten years of DoD/IC or related industry experience, along with strong RMF/JSIG expertise and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container technologies.

Qualifications

Relevant MA/MS/ME Degree and a minimum ten (10) years DoD/IC, or relevant industry work experience.
(No less than two (2) year’s total SAP and/or SCI environment experience, with 1-year total within last 5 years)

Responsibilities

Provide cybersecurity engineering support to assigned project team(s).
Perform security assessments and develop vulnerability remediation options.
Perform engineering activities to attain cyber mission effects.
Develop and/or employ cybersecurity tools used within DoD architectures.
Synthesize intelligence products and scan results to prepare reports with actionable recommendations.
Provide input to the government customer concerning risks to performance, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with multiple partners/agencies to ensure adherence cybersecurity policies while meeting program milestones.
