Job summary

Amentum is seeking a System Administrator Professional to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). You will configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, monitors systems, and work with Cybersecurity to implement STIGs and maintain RMF ATO compliance.

The role requires DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification, strong network hardware experience, and willingness to travel. Candidates must possess DoD security clearance and US citizenship, with a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination.
• 3+ years' work experience in Information Technology.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II (or higher) certification.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating systems; hands-on with enterprise services (AD, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers and workstations.
• Provide expert-level technical support; act as escalation point (Tier 1 and 2).
• Monitor system performance, backups, and recovery operations.
• Work with Cybersecurity to implement STIGs and RMF ATO requirements.
• Write procedures/reports to summarize testing data.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
