Amentum is seeking a System Administrator Professional to support the Space Force Range Contract. You will configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems and network devices, while maintaining RMF/ATO compliance with STIGs and DoD directives.

You will work with Cybersecurity to implement protections, perform backups, and support DoD testing. The role requires DoD 8140 IAT II clearance eligibility, strong communication, and occasional travel to Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience; or 7+ years in progressively responsible systems administration.
• 3+ years’ work experience in Information Technology.
• Current DoD 8140 IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) certification.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware and enterprise services (AD, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience managing and maintaining virtual server platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel as needed.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers/workstations and network devices.
• Provide escalation support for hardware, software, and network issues (Tier 1–2).
• Monitor system performance and perform backups, maintenance, and recovery.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement STIGs and maintain RMF/ATO posture.
• Write procedures or reports to support new or existing processes and testing.
