Qualifications

• Ten or more years of DoD/IC or related industry experience.
• Proven testing experience on satellite systems.
• Understanding of operational environment and user needs.
• Knowledge of space system engineering, development, and manufacturing.
• Experience with Developmental/Operational Test at Service/Command level.
• Experience in DoD program management, including development and transition.
• Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules, risk management, SOW and PWS.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth test background on satellite vehicle bus, subsystems, and ground systems to inform program offices.
• Serve as program advisory lead for time‑critical technical projects and tasks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to verify program needs and develop timelines.
• Assist acquisition planning, market research, and drafting technical requirements.
• Assess technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timeliness of deliverables.
• Provide technical advice and problem‑resolution support to engineers.
• Support management of multi‑project programs and ensure coordination.
• Draft, review, and edit final program reports, documents, and briefings.
• Coordinate with external agencies including higher headquarters and Combatant Commands.
• Translate complex ideas into actionable recommendations.
• Communicate clearly and accurately, both orally and in writing.
