Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Middle River, MD is seeking Mechanical Technicians at I, II, or Senior levels to build and assemble components for the Neutron Launch Vehicle structure. Based at our Space Structures Complex, you will join a high‑caliber cross functional team and contribute to aerospace hardware production.

Tech I requires 2+ years in mechanical assembly; Tech II requires 5+ years; Senior requires 8+ years in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly or similar in a highly regulated manufacturing or maintenance environment.
• 5+ years of mechanical assembly, repair, or maintenance for Tech II.
• 8+ years of mechanical assembly, repair, or maintenance for Senior level.

Responsibilities

• Work on a high caliber cross functional team.
• Building mechanical structures and related components.
• Watch the hardware you build evolve into a completed Rocket and go to space.
• Uphold shop cleanliness and organization.
• Utilize proper PPE.
• Integration of Mechanical Hardware.
