Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking Mechanical Technicians (Levels I, II, III, or Senior) in Wallops Island, VA, to support the Neutron launch vehicle project. Technicians will work on fabrication, integration, testing, and maintenance of launch vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• Experience working within an aerospace, industrial or relevant industry environment.
• Knowledge and skill in the use of hand, power and measurement tools used in mechanical construction.
• Previous experience in the assembly of large structures and mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate mechanical subsystems at the test and launch sites supporting Neutron.
• Support daily activities for up to 3-5 technicians to meet launch schedule.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
