Redwire Space Enterprises, Inc. in Goleta, CA is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Structural Analysis team.

You will analyze, design, and validate mission-critical space systems for harsh environments, collaborating with mechanical, thermal, and systems engineers to ensure structural requirements are met. The role emphasizes developing FE models, conducting dynamic analyses, and presenting technical findings for SRR/ PDR/ CDR reviews.

Formación

• BS in STEM with 2+ years in space hardware preferred.
• Experience in space industry and testing space flight hardware.
• Ability to create FE models from CAD geometry and make reasonable simplifications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop system-level dynamic FE models of deployable spacecraft structures using Ansys or Femap/Nastran.
• Model composite and metallic structures, including sandwich panel configurations.
• Support all phases of testing from planning to reporting.
