Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Mid-Level Structures Design Engineer to develop structural and payload system designs for defense, space, and related programs.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, use Creo CAD and GD&T, and drive design for manufacturability, documentation, and lifecycle support across multiple programs at Boeing.

This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Top Secret/SCI with poly, with competitive pay and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace or Materials)
• 2+ years of related design experience
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to interpret requirements, define interfaces and develop innovative integrated assembly designs.
• Develop and interpret space structure documentation using Creo CAD and GD&T standards.
• Support design for manufacturing and process improvements by reviewing previous designs, regulatory requirements, customer specifications and contracts to improve quality and efficiency.
• Provide engineering support throughout fabrication, integration and test of structure products.
• Create, disposition, and drive to closure anomalies related to assembly integration and structure hardware throughout product lifecycle.
• Work under general direction.
