Job summary

The Boeing Company in St. Charles, Missouri is seeking a Senior Structural and Payload Design Engineer to join the Direct Attack Structural and Mechanical Design team within PES.

This role requires 9+ years experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and an active U.S. Secret clearance; it is 100% onsite with relocation possible.

You will design and document structural and payload systems using NX and GD&T, coordinate with suppliers, and support fabrication and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials)
• Typically, 9+ years of related work experience
• Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret) required

Responsibilities

• Develop and document structural and interior payload system requirements.
• Create and modify designs using NX CAD to provide product definition across lifecycle.
• Ensure GD&T (ASME Y14.5M) compliance.
• Manage supplier development, test and production activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces and innovative integrated assembly designs.
• Support fabrication, integration, and testing of structure products.
