Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA is seeking Design Engineers at Associate to Senior levels to develop structural and payload designs for space hardware programs. You will work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret requirements, ensure GD&T compliance, and support fabrication, integration, and testing across the product lifecycle.

Candidates should have a BS in engineering, space hardware experience, and CAD proficiency, with the ability to obtain U.S.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with U.S. Citizenship.
• 1+ to 5+ years of related experience by level.
• Experience using CAD software.
• Experience in Space Hardware environments.
• Experience with structural/payload engineering.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Aerospace/Materials).

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify structural and MGSE designs using Creo Parametric or similar CAD tools.
• Interpret GD&T (ASME Y14.5M) standards.
• Validate designs meet requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage development, test, and production activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce engineering definition documents.
• Ensure safety, producibility, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
