Job summary

Blue Origin's Club for the Future is seeking an Education Internship to help create standards-aligned K-12 materials, events, and educator resources that bring space into classrooms.

You'll work with a small nonprofit team, leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, coordinate events, and support volunteers while gaining hands-on experience in education program development and nonprofit operations.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S., per internship requirements.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with at least one semester remaining.
• Education-focused majors encouraged; education, communications or nonprofit fields preferred.
• Experience in classroom instruction, curriculum or lesson development, events, or project management.
• Comfort with data entry, spreadsheets, and basic reporting; interest in using AI tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and valid driver’s license.
• Readiness to support a wide range of educator and student resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop K-12 educational content: create lesson plans, activity guides, and classroom resources.
• Support educator engagement: plan staff educator-focused events and conferences.
• Create resources for students and teachers: produce digital materials and take-home activities.
• Manage the volunteer program: coordinate volunteers, recruit, schedule, and train.
• Leverage AI to improve systems: implement AI tools to automate workflows.
• Collect and analyze data: gather, clean, and report program data for improvements.
• Coordinate events with minimal oversight: handle vendor coordination and post-event follow-up.
• Communicate with stakeholders: draft emails, social posts, and educator communications.
• Collaborate across teams: partner with Blue Origin and Club for the Future.
• Bring ideas and initiative: contribute perspectives from education studies.
