Job summary

Vast is seeking an Operations & Technical Experience Specialist to support the development of systems for human-rated space stations at our Long Beach location. This full-time, exempt role involves managing the production of experiences from design to live operation, troubleshooting real-time issues, and leading onsite teams during events.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical fluency and experience in large-scale events, working in dynamic settings with high visibility. The role comes with comprehensive benefits, including medical coverage and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends to support events.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end production of experiences including design and installation.
• Manage day-to-day performance of HQ experiences.
• Lead technical systems planning for events.
• Maintain vendor and fabricator relationships.
• Troubleshoot problems during events.

Skills

Strong technical fluency (power, HVAC, structures, AV)

Ability to lead onsite labor teams

Problem-solving in real time

Experience with large-scale events

Tools

Forklift certification
