Job summary

Vast in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Integration Engineer, Fluid Systems Test to advance fluid system development for Haven-1 and future space stations. This full-time exempt role is based in Long Beach. You will own design, build, and test stands, develop test plans, lead test director duties, and collaborate with distributed engineering teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing or electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in design, manufacturing, or test of fluid systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software and NX workflows.
• Hands-on fabrication or integration experience.
• Familiarity with GD&T and safety-critical hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own design, build, and commissioning of fluid system GSE and test stands
• Develop robust test plans for on-vehicle checkouts and high-pressure testing
• Lead test director duties and project handoff meetings
• Prepare documentation including schematics and test records
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams
