Job summary

Vast in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Integration Engineer, Fluid Systems Test to drive the development and validation of human-rated fluid systems for Haven-1. This full-time role requires hands-on fabrication, testing, and cross-functional collaboration with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field and 4–6+ years in manufacturing or integration engineering, with NX, Teamcenter, and analytical tools experience; mentorship is a plus for senior

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing or electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related technical field
• Manufacturing experience across multiple work centers and/or departments with fluid, pressurized, propulsion, or environmental control hardware in design, manufacturing, or test
• 2-4+ years of experience for Manufacturing Engineer II
• 4-6+ years of experience for Senior Manufacturing Engineer
• Hands-on fabrication, assembly, and/or integration experience; CAD proficiency (NX preferred)

Responsibilities

• Own design, build, and commissioning of fluid system GSE and test stands
• Develop clear and robust test plans for on-vehicle checkouts, fluids, instrumentation, and high-pressure testing
• Act as test director, providing status updates and leading handoff meetings
• Document non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team on root cause corrective actions
• Adhere to, enforce, and improve test processes and best practices
• Senior Level: Mentor engineers and technicians on the team
