Job summary

Rocket Lab in Littleton, CO seeks a Software Technical Project Manager to coordinate embedded software efforts for Space-to-Space and Space-to-Ground systems, and to align engineering, suppliers, and testing across the program. You will define roadmaps, lead agile ceremonies, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality and security through development, testing, and integration milestones.

Required: U.S. citizenship, 8+ years in CS/engineering, SAFe/Jira experience, and ability to obtain SECRET

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required for program eligibility.
• 8+ years of experience in CS/engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience interfacing with contractors.
• Knowledge of network software and SDLC including SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Manage software development and integration of routers, radios, and laser communication devices on a constellation of spacecraft.
• Interface with subcontractors and internal teams to maintain roadmaps and delivery milestones.
• Lead agile ceremonies and define KPIs for contractors and teams.
• Develop and maintain software development standards and testing approaches.
