Rocket Lab in Littleton, CO seeks a Software Technical Project Manager to coordinate embedded software efforts for Space-to-Space and Space-to-Ground systems, and to align engineering, suppliers, and testing across the program. You will define roadmaps, lead agile ceremonies, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality and security through development, testing, and integration milestones.

The team has enabled more than 1,700 missions, ranging from interplanetary exploration, in‑space manufacturing to national security and defense initiatives.
Rocket Lab is looking for a driven Software Technical Project Manager to be based out of our Littleton, CO site. This role will work with a team of engineers on Rocket Lab’s flagship efforts to deliver on program milestones related to Space‑to‑Space Communications, Space‑to‑Ground Communications, Payload Software, and Data Security. The successful candidate will have prior experience managing software development efforts for embedded systems and government programs. Knowledge of secure network systems is a must, with RF and spacecraft experience being an additional benefit. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Operations.
Location: Littleton, CO. This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.
Base salary range ($120,000—$170,000 USD for Colorado). Additional compensation may include company stock, cash incentives, and a discounted Employee Stock Purchase Program.
